Great family fun

We traveled up north and took our boys to Hawksnest for a rare chance for them to experience the snow. Even though it was crowded, they had enough lanes to keep everyone moving. The boys had a great time and it definitely was a highlight of their weekend.

We love Hawks Nest!

Hawks Nest is the best place for snow tubing! We have made a weekend trip of this every year for many years now with friends and family. The views are beautiful, the snow slopes are fun and the employees are helpful and friendly. We look forward to the trip every February. Its a must do if you are looking for a fun family day trip.

First time tubers!

Awesome experience! We chose the 6:00 slot and had a blast. Our entire family made multiple rides on all 4 sections. Staff was extremely helpful. Can’t wait to come again!

This was our first visit to Hawksnest. Can I just say we had a blast! We were there the last Friday in February. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The lines were great and the tubing lanes were perfect! AND to top all that off, it basically snowed the whole time we were there. We could not have asked for a better day of snow tubing. This will be our go to place from now on.

Fun Afternoon

My mom and I went to Hawksnest for Snow Tubing recently and had so much fun! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and well organized. My mom doesn't ski or snowboard so this was a fun activity that both of us could enjoy. Each session last an hour and forty-five minutes (this was the perfect amount of time for us). They also have photographers that are out on the snow taking pictures and they are not overpriced! I also recommend buying tickets online in advance.

Awesome time tubing!!

We had a great time tubing at Hawks Nest! The first slopes were wicked fast and you spin a lot especially if you hold a small child on your lap. Only way to steer on that one is by putting hands and feet down some. Went to Beech mountain a few weeks earlier and it doesn’t even compare. There’s so many lanes and different slopes to do, with all the people it still goes fast.

Snow tubing is a great outdoor activity for large parties of family and friends or school, church, and corporate groups. It’s inexpensive, appealing to people of all ages and athletic capabilities, and requires no extra gear rentals or accommodations. Find our rates and full details on our group reservations below.

Plan your visit and make your group reservation in advance! The sooner, the better. This will help you to secure your first choice of dates and tubing session times. Many sessions sell out quickly! When picking a date, keep in mind that holidays and weekends are our busiest times. Hawksnest sells a limited amount of tickets per tubing session but does not guarantee a certain number of runs for each participant during any given session.

Plan to book your group and pay in advance. Group reservations must be booked and paid in full two weeks prior to your visit. Hawksnest will accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and church/school/corporate checks for groups. Within one week of your reservation, no refunds or rain checks are issued unless Hawksnest is closed on the day of your reservation, in which case we are happy to reschedule your group’s visit or refund your money.

Have your group’s liability waivers signed in advance. A liability waiver must be completed for each snow tubing participant before any tickets are issued. They must be the signed originals; they cannot be copied, faxed, or e-mailed. Please be sure to have them signed and completed before your visit to Hawksnest and have them ready to present in person when you arrive.
