What is your policy regarding inclement weather?

Please keep in mind, snow tubing is an outdoor activity and is subject to the weather. Rain, warm temperatures, exceedingly high winds, and unsafe road conditions due to snow/freezing rain/ice are the most common weather conditions that MAY cause us to cancel snow tubing sessions.

Normally, if we choose to close for inclement weather we do not make that decision until the day of. That decision is based on multiple factors. We do not have a set weather policy.

If we do make the decision to close due to inclement weather, anyone who has pre purchased tickets will have the option to move to a later available date or be issued a full refund. We try to make those decisions as early as we possibly can. We will initially email everyone, followed by individual phone calls.

Does Hawksnest require protective face masks?

We are continuing to follow the recommendations and regulations set by the CDC and federal/state/local governments in regards to COVID-19. At this time, we are not requiring masks or facial coverings to be worn outside while snow tubing. We do, however, STRONGLY ENCOURAGE guests to wear a protective face covering while indoors – specifically while waiting in line and ordering at the café or bar, in crowded common areas, and while visiting our gift shop and zipline room. This is subject to change at any point during our season.

What time should I arrive for my snow tubing session?

We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes prior to your scheduled session time. This allows for time to park, check-in, get your tickets, and get lined up before the session begins.

Late arrivals will not receive extra time to snow tube.
