We are thrilled to announce that we will officially be open for snow tubing this Friday, December 6th! After a cold snap this past week, we have been able to make snow, plus we had a little natural snow to top it off.
After several months of cleanup from Hurricane Helene, we are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to Hawksnest for another great winter season! We want to express our heartfelt thanks for everyone’s continued support.

After extensive clean-up efforts this fall, we are thrilled to be operational this winter and plan to run as usual for our 2024/2025 snow tubing season!
Despite the significant damage caused by the storm, our community has come together to rebuild and resume tourism in the High Country this winter. All major roadways in the surrounding area have been repaired and are now clean and safe for travel. Lodging amenities are open and available for booking, and our beloved local restaurants and shops are ready to serve you.
As the holiday season approaches, we look forward to celebrating with our regular customers and welcoming many new faces to Hawksnest for some winter fun.
