We strongly recommend making reservations in advance. We have limited the number of participants per session. Therefore tickets are limited and sell out quickly for weekends and holidays, sometimes weeks in advance. We only have day of walk up tickets available if we have not already sold out online in advance.
We DO NOT offer phone reservations. All reservations must be made online, via our website. Tickets cannot be purchased online for same day tickets. Tickets must be purchased at least 1 day in advance.
We offer a partial refund for pre purchased tickets up to 48 hours in advance of your reservation. There is a $5 cancellation fee per ticket and the initial booking fee is non refundable.
You can also reschedule your reservations up to 24 hours in advance to a later available date for no additional fees or penalties.
To add or remove tickets to your reservation, to cancel, or reschedule to another date or session time, please call us directly at (828) 963-6561 to speak with a customer service representative. You can reach us from 9am – 5pm daily.
Please keep in mind, snow tubing is an outdoor activity and is subject to the weather. Rain, warm temperatures, exceedingly high winds, and unsafe road conditions due to snow/freezing rain/ice are the most common weather conditions that MAY cause us to cancel snow tubing sessions.
Normally, if we choose to close for inclement weather we do not make that decision until the day of. That decision is based on multiple factors. We do not have a set weather policy.
If we do make the decision to close due to inclement weather, anyone who has pre purchased tickets will have the option to move to a later available date or be issued a full refund. We try to make those decisions as early as we possibly can. We will initially email everyone, followed by individual phone calls.

We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled session time. This allows for time to park, check-in, get your tickets, and get lined up before the session begins.
Late arrivals will not receive extra time to snow tube.

The road conditions are passable unless there is an active weather event. In general the DOT does a good job of maintaining the roads surrounding and directly to Hawksnest. 4WD vehicles are recommended but not necessarily essential.
Due to COVID, our coffee shop, restaurant, and bar are closed this season. While we do have the occasional food truck, for the most part we are not able to offer these extra amenities this season.
